In the mobile applications space, there are also several options to monetize your video. I will use the Android platform and an in-app payment provider called Fortumo as an example just to keep things simple. Other in-app payment providers that support Android include PayPal, Boku and Zong.
The steps are as follows:
Create your Fortumo account
Click on New Service and answer all the questions, the price of the video will be set in the last question (cheap, average, expensive) and you will see the applicable revenue share and prices for each country.
Download the billing library from the Fortumo site
Integrate the library into your Android app by adding payment calls for the video views as required
Publish your app in the Android Market
You can now publish a free app for the Android platform, but you will get paid each time your viewers click on the video links inside your app.
